The Plitvice Lakes National Park belongs to the UNESCO World Heritage and is the oldest National Park in Croatia. It is considered one of the most beautiful National Parks in Europe.
The park is known for its sixteen lakes which range from clear to turquoise and for the waterfalls, canyons, and streams that shape the landscape around these lakes. It really is a ‘water world’ which the visitor can access by following the wooden paths that have been laid out around the waterfalls and over the streams.
