Outdoor thermal riviera

The summer outdoor thermal riviera is open from April to October. You can enjoy numerous water slides, the slow river ride, wave pool, tube slides and more. The youngest will get their thrills in the children's water park, while proficient swimmers can test their skills in the Olympic-size swimming pool.

Indoor thermal riviera

The renovated winter thermal riviera is open year-round. The indoor riviera comprises two water slides (the diving board and the “kamikaze”), a wave pool, a surfing area, a pirate ship for children, and plenty of relaxation areas. For an extra charge, you can visit the “sauna world” or surrender to the capable hands of a professional masseur.

Restaurants & Shops

There are two fast food restaurants in the outdoor riviera, ice cream vendors and poolside bars. In any case, you should not miss out on the Urška dessert café before entering the indoor riviera; the café is famous for its sweets and excellent ice cream. The campsite itself offers breakfast and pizza delivery or table grill rental.

Daily Trips & Activities

Location offers a great starting point for day trips. The capital of Slovenia, Ljubljana, is only a good hour’s drive away. If you are a true shopping enthusiast, then the nearby Zagreb is the right place to go, while for sightseeing, we recommend visiting the surrounding historic venues that are famous for their beautiful castles and old town centres: Brežice, Novo mesto, the Mokrice Castle, the Otočec Castle, the Sevnica Castle, etc.

Spa & Wellness

You definitely should not leave Terme Čatež before visiting their Spa Centre. Exquisite massages, beauty treatments, saunas, baths and wellness packages are available all year round – whatever it takes to relax and unwind.

Running and Cycling

The municipality of Brežice has the right terrain for more demanding as well as recreational cyclists. We recommend using less busy roads along the surrounding hillsides and valleys. During the cycling season you can rent a bike at the campsite reception or at the Tourist Information Centre in Terme Čatež. You can have a quick jog around the lake or along the Sava bank.

Indoor sports facilities

Inside the spa resort's air-conditioned sports hall, you can play tennis, table tennis or badminton. You can try your hand at a game of squash or go bowling. After an hour of various sporting activities, you can visit the gym to do a quick workout or treat yourself to a massage at the Spa and Wellness Centre.

Outdoor sports facilities

There is an Olympic-size swimming pool for all types of swimmers, sand courts for tennis and volleyball, a football pitch with an artificial turf (according to FIFA standards) as well as a court for basketball, handball and five-a-side football. Horse riding and cross-country skiing are also available nearby.

Golf

In addition to the restaurant, wine cellar and an English garden, the Mokrice Castle, a boutique-style first-rate hotel, offers an 18-hole golf course right in the midst of centuries-old castle woodland. The course offers a proper challenge for both experienced players and beginners.

The Terme Čatež Resort is a paradise for kids. The entire outdoor part as well as a section of the indoor riviera are basically designed for family fun and children’s entertainment. The numerous swimming pools, water slides, playgrounds, sports fields as well as the wave pool, river ride, pirate island, pirate ship and other attractions are certainly reason enough to join in the fun.

Fun activities for children

Live entertainment for children in summer is available from June until the end of August. Children can stay in Native American tents just like real Native Americans, do their traditional dances and ride a canoe on the lake. Evening music and entertainment for all generations is provided.
