Campsite

Just a stone's throw from the old town of Cres, Kovačine is the perfect choice for a pleasant and active holiday by the sea or by the pool. You can also explore the nearby villages of Lubenice, Valun and Martinšćica. Friendly staff and rich entertainment programme await you at the eco-friendly Camp Kovačine.

Beach

The beach is known for its natural beauty and clean sea. There are areas of shingle and paved areas along the beach, allowing easy access to the sea. Activities on the beach: animations, sports activities, diving boards, dog beach, mini-marina, boat lift, FKK section of the beach, etc.

Pool

There is a new swimming pool complex next to the campsite reception, where you can relax on free sun loungers with parasols, on the terrace or in the grass area. Refresh yourself with a drink from the bar and keep an eye on your little ones while they have fun on the water slide in the children's pool.

Shops & Restaurants

There are two grocery stores with all the necessary ingredients to prepare a tasty meal in your mobile home. If you prefer to indulge your taste buds, visit the seafront restaurant or the pizzeria. Refresh yourself with an ice cream at the patisserie. The campsite also has a bakery, fishmonger, fruit and vegetable shop and a poolside bar.

Other facilities at the campsite

Kovačine campsite is an ecologically oriented campsite, with an electric vehicle charging station available. A special sport activity is the diving centre, which offers diving courses adapted for the deaf, in addition to regular diving courses. The campsite has a pharmacy and medical care on site, as well as free internet access.

Dogs Friendly

The campsite pays special attention to four-legged friends. There are several dog beaches, a dog playground and toilets or showers for dogs. Pets are also allowed in the mobile home, for an extra fee in high season and even free of charge in low season.

Walking & Cycling

The untouched nature of Cres offers many walking trails to discover the hidden corners and wilderness of the island. The island is also an interesting getaway for cycling. The Seven Labyrinths Trail, the Macmalic Trail and the Elf Trail allow you to explore these unique places. Bicycles can be rented at the campsite.

Sport activities

The campsite has a beach volleyball court and a small basketball court. You can try yourselves at table tennis or bowls or play a set of tennis about 500 metres from the campsite. There is an indoor fitness centre by the pool, but you can also work out at the outdoor fitness stations or relax in a yoga class.

Water Sport

The campsite is well equipped with a wide range of water sports. You can choose between a simple boat rental, kayak, SUP or a boat trip. If you are into adrenaline sports, you can go water-skiing, paragliding or banana-tubing. Water aerobics and scuba diving courses are also available.

Animation for children

Your little ones can have fun all day long with the Flaps Animation Club and experienced animators. Children's games, sports tournaments, creative and dance workshops and show performances will bring lots of joy and laughter. Free creative wool workshops are available on Saturdays during the high season.

Activities for children

Sandpit on the beach, animation centre and children's playground in the shade nearby. There are inflatable playgrounds, a sports centre and two diving boards on the beach, and an indoor games room for younger and slightly older children in the upper part of the campsite near reception. There are also several outdoor playgrounds and inner playroom for your little ones.
